Install ftp on Amanzon Ec2
You can install ftp to your Amazon ec2 instance and able to provide access to other developer to work parallel on same in instance.
sudo apt-get install proftpd
Configration of ftp
sudo vi /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf
Add passive port range
PassivePorts 1024 1048
Add public ip

You should also allow the ports in ec2 security group associated with your instance
Click on security group you are using.
Go to inbound tab click on edit
Click on Add rule
Select Custom TCP Rule in Type add port range 20-21 and Sources Any Where
Again click on add rule
Select Custom TCP Rule in Type add port range 1024-1048 and Sources Any Where
Now you should able to access ftp.
